How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The hotel’s location is simply dreamy and the staff very friendly, food also very good, breakfast like dinner, the bathroom very nice. Unfortunately the furniture quality was poor and mismatched in our room, the mattress should have been 30 cm larger; the slatted bed base wasn’t great.

Location, excellent friendly hard‑working staff, nothing too much trouble. I booked a room explaining mobility difficulties, but the room allocated was accessed internally by a curved staircase with no handrail and narrowing steps, proving very challenging, so we left a day early. The hotel was full, no alternative room available, and no refund offered.

Perfect location in Grassington overlooking the main square, interior tastefully decorated to match its façade. Sue, Steve and their staff are efficient, friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable, meeting every need with courtesy and a smile. We will never tire of staying here. There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

Beautiful old building decorated in keeping with the location. Our bedroom was room 10, looking out over the village square, great to see the 1940s weekend evolve as the village was transformed. Staff were polite and attentive, impeccably turned out. Restaurant food was nothing short of superb!
