The property’s location is ideal, within walking distance of the town of Castelina in Chianti, so strolling to shops and restaurants was easy. I ended up renting a car in Tuscany and needed an international licence; the rental company wouldn’t rent me a car with a US licence and insisted on an international one. Taxis in Tuscany are extremely expensive. The property itself was good, but they should provide water bottles in the room, a coffee maker, and cups. Near the vineyards there is nothing nearby, so if you arrive late you won’t even have a bottle of water to drink. Plan to bring snacks, water, and cups when booking any Tuscan property.
