The reception was very friendly, with no excessive protocol or unnecessary complexity, which was truly pleasant. The room featured a superb balcony with a splendid view of the lake, and I also appreciated a free parking spot. Checkout was just as simple and enjoyable: the lady told me to drop the key, showing a trust‑based approach that I liked. On the downside, there was no air conditioning, the toilet was extremely small, and there was no complimentary water bottle in the room – we had to buy two bottles at the front desk for 10 CHF.
