I was helped with the kitchen and buying groceries, but the place was filthy with cockroaches crawling everywhere. Cats slipped in as soon as I opened the door and it was hard to shoo them out. The room had a strong mothball odor, the pool was shallow and tiny, and the entrance road was hard to navigate—taxis sometimes wouldn’t even let me in. Most rooms shared toilets, and the views I’d seen online turned out to be fake. I’ll never stay here again; it’s the worst place I’ve ever visited.

The pool was nice, but using the kitchen cost extra, the room was too hot, and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom.
