The dinner was superb, and a campfire was lit just for us after the staff noticed we wanted to sit there. The pool’s cleanliness was lacking; it had been freshly poured but hadn’t been cleaned beforehand.

The rustic riverside cottages were charming, the dinner was adequate, the breakfast was good, and it was an ideal one‑night stopover. A little more attention to detail would help, for example providing only one glass for two people.
