I didn’t eat anything because I had to leave very early. I can’t comment further since I only stayed a few hours.

The rooms were very basic for what we paid, and we had to ask the staff for electricity for the caravan because the point they pointed out didn’t work; I even had to beg them to prepare food at 6 pm. Parking was a problem and the service was very poor.

The Ombo Rest Camp sits in a great spot on the B1/C31, so you don’t have to spend ages riding through the prairie to get there. The bungalows are practical; you can’t expect a luxury stay, but it was fine for us. A huge plus was that we could leave the car right at the door, so we didn’t have to unload it overnight for someone else! The service lady was friendly and helpful. As a short‑term visitor, the stay was perfectly acceptable. The menu covered all meals (dinner and breakfast à la carte). It had a bit of a fast‑food vibe, but the food was tasty – and that’s what matters!

I recently stopped over at a lovely hotel on my way from the coast, and it turned out to be the perfect pit stop. The hotel's location, just off the main highway, made it incredibly easy to find and navigate. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome, and the communication was seamless throughout our stay. We stayed in a spacious 2-bedroom bungalow that was ideal for our group of four, complete with four beds, a shower room, and plenty of outdoor space.

I recently stayed at a peaceful hotel that offered a serene atmosphere and a warm welcome from the staff. The surroundings were tranquil, and we felt right at home. However, our bungalow was a bit of a letdown, lacking the amenities we had expected.
