The breakfast was phenomenal, with regional ingredients arranged lovingly by Lisi to my personal preferences and served on the sunny terrace, where watching the sunrise was truly beautiful. The room was spacious, featuring a roof window above the bed and plenty of wardrobes. The bathroom was nice, offering a lot of storage space. From the balcony I could see the valley and the bus stop—noisy during the day but very quiet at night. Below on the ground floor were an Italian restaurant and a wine bar, which didn’t bother us; instead, we enjoyed a hot, excellent pizza on the balcony. The garden pool was very clean, though the water had become quite cold by the end of September. The lounge chairs around the lawn were comfortable, and the sun stayed there until evening. Lisi is an exceptionally dedicated host with a love for her homeland, giving us great tips that we followed, resulting in a wonderful—though far too short—short holiday.
