The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating; I spent three days in a tent, which was more than enough and very cozy.

The value for money was spot on. Both the grandma and her grandson were very helpful and nice, and every dish she cooked was delicious. After touring the whole island, I can confirm that this spot is great. It’s a bit tucked away in a “jungle,” but that gives it a peaceful vibe. Plus, it’s close to a small hidden beach and Pasai beach.

The neighbors were okay, but the owners were very oppressive and constantly pushed us to buy stuff from them. The beds were uncomfortable, there was sometimes a smell of cat urine outside, and the caged animals were heart‑wrenching. There was no way to lock the room or secure our belongings, which was a bit annoying.

The hostel is lovely, set in a quiet, natural spot. The grandson is a funny and friendly guy, and the grandma is the sweetest, kindest person ever; she took care of me when I fell ill and gave me traditional Thai medicine. Breakfast is tasty, everything is clean and well maintained, and you can rent a motorbike here at a very fair price. I’ll definitely return.
