Everything the room was beautiful clean and comfortable the staff were lovely. Breakfast was beautiful. The views were fabulous very pleased. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Nothing . It exceeded all expectations

We were woken at 4.30 am by a rooster and then a dog barking. The room décor isn’t great, the bathroom is pretty basic, and breakfast was not very “varied”: no dairy, no fruit, no toast.

We arrived a bit disappointed, but the staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The menu was standard pub‑grub but tasted good; we only ate there the first night, so variety was limited. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order with good quality ingredients. The bedroom was fine, but the pub felt a little soulless; the landlord has only been there 5 months and is still learning what works best for guests. He is very friendly and easy to talk to.

The cleaning was excellent and the location near White Horse is convenient, with parking close to the room. I stayed in room 4 and found no hot water or a sink plug. When I told the breakfast staff, they didn’t apologize, just said, “I’ll tell the manager,” and never followed up. I later learned this issue had been known for some time with no action taken. Cleaning and floor washing happened while we were eating breakfast, which was very meagre for the price paid.
