The cleaning throughout the facility was thorough, making my stay comfortable; there were two indoor baths, one of which opened onto a lovely open‑air pool, and I really appreciated being served coffee with milk right in the room.

Pets can stay with you. The room shared with a pet has smooth flooring, which could be hazardous for dogs.

The staff treated us with great courtesy and the dishes were tasty, and every meal took place in a private room so we could relax, but the balcony was blocked by spider webs, the boiler made a fairly loud noise, and the auto‑lock door at the room entrance was fiddly to open.

The food and the baths were fantastic, and I was shocked that I slept through the night without waking once, even though I usually wake up at least once; being roused by the nightingale and other small birds was a truly luxurious moment, and I’d love to return.
