The location was great and the room felt very comfortable and spotless, but the shower drained poorly, leaving the bathroom floor dangerously wet; it seemed that external events were given priority over guests.

The hotel’s location is superb and the breakfast is especially generous, but the overall comfort suffered a lot: the room temperature stayed at an uncomfortable 26 °C and couldn’t be adjusted, and opening the window was impossible because a nearby pub with an outdoor terrace and live music produced loud noise until about 2:00 a.m.; we asked for a different room but received none, and we were not told beforehand that a wedding reception would be held at the hotel during our stay, adding more noise and disturbance that ruined our rest. These problems made the stay far below what we would expect from a hotel of this class.

Staying at Hotel Evropa in Sarajevo was truly wonderful! The hotel exudes elegance, historic charm, and a beautiful interior, and its location is perfect – right in the heart of Sarajevo, near all major attractions. I especially want to thank the friendly and professional front‑desk staff who assigned me a lovely room and made me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The cleaning ladies were also fantastic—very kind, attentive, hardworking, and professional. They truly deserve all the praise! I would gladly return to Hotel Evropa and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Sarajevo. Thanks to the whole team for the great hospitality! ❤️
