The meals were tasty, but because four of us had to split into two rooms it felt overpriced.

The food was good and the hair‑dryer was solid, yet some rooms lacked an elevator, the whole building felt old, the large public bath was cramped, and the quality didn’t match the price, leaving me unsatisfied with the overall value.

Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the staff's lack of effort to communicate with us in English. The room itself was also pretty humid, with visible signs of dampness and a general lack of cleanliness.

The only thing I can say is that the front desk was ridiculously small for the times we're living in - it's hard to imagine how they expect people to take off their shoes. That's about it for the positives.

We stayed in a room with a private onsen, which was absolutely stunning - it was romantic, relaxing, and just beautiful. The only downside was that we had to get a taxi from the station to the hotel, which would have been a lot easier with a shuttle service. Still, the room was worth it.
