Absolutely not recommended – unhygienic and disappointing. The worst thing first: In my bed, which was supposedly freshly made, I found numerous small crawling creatures everywhere. That was absolutely unacceptable and simply unhygienic. I didn’t feel comfortable there and couldn’t stay under those circumstances. After I mentioned it, they responded very quickly, but by then I had already packed my things and decided to leave. The rest of the stay was disappointing from the start. When I arrived, there was no working shower. I was told a hose would be installed within two to three hours. In fact, it took about six hours for the shower to be usable. Even toilet paper had to be requested explicitly at noon, and I didn’t receive it until evening – again after I complained about the bed. I later asked to cancel my stay because I couldn’t stay there due to the conditions. That request was denied. So I’m supposed to keep paying for the originally booked five nights despite this experience. I can’t recommend this homestay to anyone. The situation with the crawling creatures in the bed was absolutely unacceptable for me. I definitely would not stay here again.
