The Junior Suite was spacious with great views of the beach and sunset, and the buffet had a solid food selection. The staff were super attentive and friendly, always ready to help. However, the property looks dated and needs a full renovation; they were still painting, but it still feels behind the two Jetwing Hotels next door.

The location, the staff service, breakfast. Overall service from the staff and breakfast are the highlights of the hotel. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful and memorable trip. Everything was good

The beachfront location offered fantastic views from our suite during breakfast and while lounging by the pool. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options. The suite itself was spacious, clean, and had every amenity we needed, especially the super king‑sized bed. The staff were friendly and gracious. Watching the three striped palm squirrels on the sun bed was a fun extra. The only minor gripe was that we had to hang our wet towels on outdoor furniture because there was nothing else to hang them on. Everything else was great.

The location is fairly close to the international airport and directly on the beach, but due to the season you couldn’t swim in the sea. The pools were nice for swimming and relaxing before the evening flight back to Europe.

The Goldi Sands was the first hotel on my Sri Lanka tour, so I booked a night before the tour started. It was very convenient, especially being close to the airport. The hotel’s location right on the beach gave me a lovely sea view. My room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and pleasant. The staff were always friendly and attentive. I communicated with the hotel several times before arrival, and they always responded politely and helpfully, even when I mentioned arriving late at night due to flight changes and when I asked to stay in the same room for both nights—both requests were fulfilled. Breakfast was very good. The hotel has two pools, provides towels, and has beach chairs available. Because of a flight change, I had to cancel the transfer I’d booked via Booking. Since I was arriving late at night, I asked the hotel to arrange an airport transfer instead. The service cost 40 dollars, which seemed a bit high, though the late arrival time might have influenced the price. The driver was extremely friendly. The room’s air‑conditioning made some noise.
