Mauth turned out to be the ideal starting point for our Vespa rides through the Bavarian Forest, and we found Hotel Fuchs there online. The reception was warm and we could park our Vespas dry in the owner's garage right away. The food was excellent and the staff unbeatable – we truly felt at home. After a rainy drive, warming up in the tiny on‑site spa was no problem at all – clean and family‑friendly. Highly recommend and would love to return.

The location is surrounded by nature; the room is clean, spacious and bright; the staff are kind; the dinner at the hotel restaurant is excellent, with a great house‑brewed beer, and the breakfast features quality ingredients. I would have liked a balcony like last time.

The breakfast was really great, you could tell they put a lot of love into it - everything you need was there, but it wasn't overdone, it was just nice and pleasant.
