We stayed for two nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience in India after our flight; George and his family were incredibly kind and generous, offering great recommendations and helping us navigate the area; each morning’s freshly made breakfast was delicious, and I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Georgie’s Homestay—truly a home away from home; the food was delicious, prepared with warmth and care by Mr. and Mrs. George; the ambience was perfect, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable; a special thanks to Mr. George and his family for their incredible hospitality and for making our trip memorable and awesome; the property itself is beautiful, blending rustic wooden charm with modern comfort, and it’s kept exceptionally clean, instantly putting you at ease; the hosts’ humility, warmth, and hospitality make you feel less like a guest and more like family; the meals are homely and tasty, each served with genuine care, creating a true “home away from home” experience; I’ll miss the Chonak Fish, Prawns, and Masala Omlette; their adorable pet Ace, a fun‑loving, affectionate, well‑behaved dog who instantly wins everyone’s heart, adds even more charm and even sings along to his favorite song; whether traveling with family or friends, Georgie’s Wooden Homestay is a hidden gem; the peaceful surroundings, heartfelt hospitality, and comforting ambience set it apart from typical commercial stays in Goa; I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Goa—you’ll leave with wonderful memories and the feeling of having found a second home. There is nothing I would dislike about this stay.
