We arrived late at night and the owner was incredibly hospitable, helping us lift our luggage upstairs; his warmth and welcoming nature made the whole stay feel pleasant. The hotel sits just 100 m from the beach, and overall it probably offers the best value for money I’ve ever paid. Highly recommend!

The owners were very nice, welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable, clean, had a balcony and AC, and there were good restaurants nearby that we enjoyed. A minor inconvenience: if you surf, you have to walk to the first surfing spots, but it’s still close. A tuk‑tuk on the main road gets you there in 5 min.

The view and location were good, and the owner was helpful. The room was large with plenty of furniture, a big blanket, and many pillows. Cleaning was available on request, and there’s a coffee shop just 1 m away. We stayed in a separate room with its own bathroom on the second floor; the owner also offered bike rentals for 2000–2500 lkr and a kitchen and clothes washing for 800 lkr/kg. The kitchen was hot, making cooking difficult, and the price could be lower. Occasionally neighbors were noisy, but it was completely silent at midnight. There were some electricity issues (full Weligama), slow shower water flow, and the AC needed cleaning.

They let us check in early, and despite our confusion we also checked out late—both mistakes were ours, yet the hosts remained kind and loving throughout. The room was lovely, spacious, and in a great spot near the main beach and Main Street. We can’t thank them enough for having us!
