Sabine and her family welcomed us warmly and even handed out poppy and nut cakes 🤩! We were able to enter the village before official check‑in hours and buy fresh eggs from Sabine, plus she gifted us mushrooms, onions, and apples. If you’re after absolute silence in a beautiful alpine setting with friendly hosts, this is the spot 🫶.

The owners were very available and kind, the house was clean and comfortable, and the location was gorgeous, right next to nature. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was fully equipped.

The location is excellent for anyone looking for a quiet place. Nearby hiking trails like the Pekel Gorge are lovely, and the accommodation is well equipped and very clean. The lack of air‑conditioning means the bedroom can get quite hot at times, but after sunset it cools quickly when you open the windows in both directions.
