The hotel is a beautiful spot right next to the Great Wall surrounded by stunning mountains. The entrance fee for the wall is 60 yuan for adults and 30 yuan for school‑age children. The magnetic road for two costs 210 yuan. The cable car over the lake is 120 yuan (I don’t recommend it, it’s just a 3‑minute ride in a cabin). The hotel is small, the room is cozy, clean, and uniquely decorated. The breakfast and dinner in Chinese style are very tasty, prepared on the spot by a hotel staff member—thanks to that employee. Overall, I recommend the hotel for a quiet stay and to enjoy the local scenery. The mattress is uncomfortable and too firm, and arranging a transfer to the hotel is necessary. For foreign tourists who cannot use online taxi booking, getting to the hotel is a small quest. The hotel staff helped us call a taxi back and there were no problems, but the arrival still needs to be arranged.
