It started badly because I was given a room that, in my opinion, wasn’t the one I had booked. The receptionist was extremely kind and within ten minutes had me in the room I wanted—thank you, she’s a great host. The first night in the room, the glass trembled because of the high tide, but we got used to it. The glass and door tremble, but that’s a natural issue, not the hotel’s fault. The prices are a bit high for what I expected, the food is good but not spectacular.
Everything was great, but the room and the restaurant were pricey and the tacos were expensive with stale tortillas; there was no bar, no alcohol selection, only two beers.

The facilities and staff service were decent, but the room I booked (the Dolphin room) promised a sea view and a jacuzzi that didn’t work—no hot water and no bubbles—so I paid extra for nothing. I chose it because I have a five‑month‑old baby and wanted a private jacuzzi instead of the public pools, but it was unusable and ruined a large part of our stay. The sea view was debatable; the ocean was visible but so were all the other buildings. The photos online are misleading, clearly generated by AI, and the room isn’t as pretty as shown. Most importantly, don’t book through COM booking; I was charged over $200 for that room, whereas the hotel’s own site offers a much simpler and cheaper rate.
