“Great Location with a caring Host.”

I stayed at Syangden Villa from 23rd November until 28th November and had a fantastic time; the mighty Kj was visible every day, the spot was perfect, and Mukundji treated me like an old friend and a brother, gifting me memorable moments and guiding me; his wife, a soft‑spoken teacher at Lady Karmel School, added to the warmth; I also savored the food with Mukund ji present at every meal, making the trip unforgettable. The only thing I noticed was that nothing was really noticeable.

“Lovely and comfortable place to atay”

The stay in Darjeeling was cozy and comfortable, with a balcony view that was simply stunning and ideal for soaking up the peaceful scenery; Mr. Mukund was extremely kind and generous, and his wife matched him with warmth and hospitality, making the place a great value for the price and a truly caring experience. The only drawback was that the homestay is only reachable by a two‑minute walk downhill from the main road, which was a bit hard for my wife who has a knee problem, so those with mobility issues might find it a bit challenging, though it’s a small effort for such a rewarding stay.
