A lovely guesthouse in a quiet spot just outside the city centre. The people there are fantastic—very friendly, welcoming, and social, and they really try to make you feel at home. The room we had was very spacious and very hygienic. The mattress might have been a bit too firm, and the bed creaked when we turned over.

The stay was lovely, with every detail thoughtfully arranged into a beautiful Bavarian whole. The whole house and rooms are very pretty, fresh, and clean. Our room opened onto a beautiful mountain view, with a large balcony to enjoy it. The family was fantastic. The location is also quite good; you can walk into the centre. Parking is right in front of the house and free. Every day we were greeted by friendly dogs, which gave a homey feel. Although the breakfast was extremely nice and nicely presented, the selection was still very limited and small. I can’t imagine eating like that for a week. The price is too high. My husband didn’t like that the balcony didn’t allow smoking… because how can you enjoy wine and a beautiful view if you have to go to the other side of the house to smoke? The smoking area was right in front of the entrance, which is unpleasant for non‑smokers. Check‑out was too early. On the day of departure before a long driving day, I would have liked a bit more rest.

The quiet spot is amazing, right next to the bustling Isar. On the lovely terrace in front of our room we enjoyed a stunning view of the western Karwendel peaks. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and lovingly prepared. The hostess was very friendly. We will remember our stay in Mittenwald fondly.

A very comfortable and clean place in a peaceful setting overlooking the Karwendel. The breakfast was very generous and high quality. There was a parking spot in front of the house, a wide drink selection and solid Wi‑Fi – we missed nothing. We’ll gladly return!
