Great view over the Kieler Börde, a quiet room, and a good breakfast with light and hearty dishes; however, the Wi‑Fi was apparently only available through a bonus‑program registration, so I didn’t use it, and the mandatory self‑check‑in felt a bit cumbersome.

Check‑in via machine, location right by the station, a nice view of the city and the Kieler Förde, and luggage can be stored after checkout; unfortunately, there were very dubious figures between the station and the hotel, but that’s beyond the hotel’s control.

The only upside was being close to the maritime terminal, otherwise there was nothing special; the interior felt like it was from the 1990s, the bedding was broken, there were hairs from the previous guest, and the carpet in the room had several spots.
