“Vue & localisation exceptionnelle mais ça manque d’amour.”

We stayed twice this summer 2026. The location is great right on Water Street and the room views with chairs, balcony, and space are truly enjoyable, which is the main highlight. The beds and linens are comfortable, and the café station and the kindness of the English lady at reception are nice. However, the smell of old wet carpet at the entrance hits the reception hard, the equipment feels outdated, the pool is disgusting, and the common areas like the corridor are awful. The rooms were clean but nothing more. The water view is outstanding but the place clearly lacks love; there are too many poorly arranged pieces of furniture that clutter the rooms. The fridge in room 104 was leaking (09‑2026). During both stays we had to repeatedly follow up for the room to be ready and for the correct number of towels.

“Great view. That's it.”

The view from the balcony was outstanding. Absolutely beautiful! The shower was also good even though the shampoo and body wash dispensers were empty. There were several small bottles available under sink, but I had to leave shower to retrieve them. Also, the faucet is at the wrong end of the shower. You have to be actually in the shower before turning the water on and adjust water temperature. Room decor was dreadful. Desk was worn out, one piece of "artwork" was hung too high and crooked. Coffee maker power cord didnt reach outlet and was filled with old water from who knows when. 2 chairs in room didnt match. Pillows were small and square and not fluffy. Beds were mediocre. TV needs an upgrade. Old fashioned cable box just dangling from wall. Needed 2 remotes to operate it. Hole in bathroom wall with tape over it. Plenty of dirt and hair behind toilet and beds. Lighting in room was horrendous. It would be great if surgery was being performed. Not warm at all. AC unit was loud. Could hear the units from other rooms. Plain only doughnuts available for breakfast were inedible

“Super Clean and Value-Priced. Close to the Heart of Town and Wharf.”

Jerry at the Check-in was Extremely Upbeat and friendly. Plus the 2 other gentlemen during the PM shift were SUPER Friendly and even went to get ice for me upstairs due to my sprained-ankle. The bathroom door was hard to shut and noisy, i forgot to mention to the staff. Room 103
