Only a few guests get 10 points, but the Entenwirt earned every one. Whether you’re into relaxation or activity, there’s something for everyone. They have a dedicated bike garage that locks at night. Breakfast is tasty, and they happily accommodate special requests. The rooms are beautifully appointed, but the dinner blew me away – it’s rare to taste something so delicious.

A countryside guest house perched on a hill above town offers a stunning view from the rooms and surprisingly quiet stays, even though it’s fairly close to the highway. Their own farm’s lamb and duck feature prominently on the menu. As a working farm, flies can be a nuisance, and mosquitoes drift into rooms at night, so keep those large glass doors shut after dark.
