“Lots of hassle for little nature and backwaters”
The only thing that pleased us was the location. The owner and the two staff members—who double as receptionist and cook—are not very polite and communicate poorly. Food is terrible for the 350 rupees per meal they charge. Rooms are mediocre for the price, and the shower only provides tap water, no hot water. The worst is the crowds of drunk guests on weekends who stay out until 3 am; the owner ignored our complaints. Our room was right next to the dining area, which isn’t closed, so three intoxicated men played carrom and shouted all night. Overall, look elsewhere; the only redeeming factor is the natural surroundings and nearby resorts.
