The spot is spot on, right near the city center and the market, but the alley is cramped and the path uneven, which makes me worry about my suitcase wheels. The place isn’t very clean, plaster bagworms are everywhere in the building and there are mold patches on the walls.

She’s very nice and accommodating, fitting our schedule perfectly, and the location is central and great. The room smells damp, the window is fake so no ventilation, there’s mold on the ceiling and the faucet drips brown water at first, plus the noise level is high.

First, the location was excellent. The host was fantastic, arriving at odd hours like 5am 🤭 and left clear instructions for entry, which was a lifesaver after a long journey. The room was roomy with a great fridge‑freezer, better than many places I’ve stayed, and plenty of hanging space for clothes. The little details matter, and there’s a great shop next door. Bonus points.
