“No apto para alergias e intolerancias y poca resolución en las reclamaciones”
The staff were very friendly. The biggest issue was the all‑inclusive plan, which was a nightmare for anyone with allergies or intolerances – my partner is allergic to nuts and intolerant to gluten and lactose, and in five days only one meal was acceptable after we filed an official complaint because the breakfast, lunch and dinner were poorly organized. On arrival we were given a room with a sagging left side of the bed, then moved to a lower‑floor room that was damp and smelled strongly (photos attached), and finally after about four hours we got a decent room. In short, instead of enjoying the five days we spent a lot of time dealing with room changes and struggling to eat.
“No volvería al Riu Chiclana”
The entertainment parties were spectacular, but there are no elevators, the food is disappointing for the price you pay, the distances are huge, and the beach access always requires stairs.
“Atención mejoras”
The animation staff were good. But room cleaning was poor; the cleaning crew didn't respect we were on vacation and started making noise early in the hallway; the sofa bed was dirty and dusty; the plastic glasses were always wet and it was unclear if they were clean or not.
I liked everything.
A lot of people made it very noisy. Difficulty accessing the beach (78 steps).
