I paid a cheap rate, but everything was filthy—bathroom stalls had no seat, only the toilet, and the whole place was covered in dust and grime. The shower was a mess, and the room itself was just as dirty. I spent about 90% of my time outside the room because it smelled awful. It wasn’t worth the low price.

The beds were comfy, the shower had hot water, and the host was really helpful.

The spot is great, with a lovely view of Long Beach, and Samsung was super friendly and chatty, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect for the festival, just a 10‑minute walk away, though the hill makes the return trip easier if you’ve had a few drinks. The AC was a bit subpar but still functional, the room felt a little dirty, and there were no locks on the doors. Still, I’d come back.

The place is fairly convenient, but the showers and sinks are unusable. The nearby party scene means everyone books nearby, which is a pity for the many tourist crowds. The manager seems to do what he can, but the cleaning effort is lacking, except when it comes to smoking joints. He’s friendly, though he often misstates prices and forgets to give back change at checkout, all in a very calm environment. You’ll find happiness if you’re a neo‑hippie looking for a “too cool” exotic life.
