Some places you only visit once because they stay in your heart and call you back, again and again. And here we are again… at Căsuța Festung, in Vama Buzăului. In the place where time slows down, worries stay far away, and silence seems to speak in the language of the heart. I came back because sometimes the soul knows before the mind what it needs: clean air. Mountains that hold your thoughts in their arms. Quiet mornings with dew and coffee sipped in peace. Evenings where the sunset looks painted especially for those who still know how to look. We don't just come to rest here. We come to find ourselves again. To remember how beautiful simplicity can be. To breathe deeper, laugh more sincerely, and reconnect with what we often forget in the bustle of life: peace. There are places that offer lodging… and there are places that offer a state of being. For us, Căsuța Festung has become that “home away from home” where the soul calms without asking for anything. We returned… and we already know it won’t be the last time. ❤️🏡🌲 I wholeheartedly recommend you go at least once, I promise it won’t be the last! ❤️🥰

The location was fantastic—close to the noisy market, quiet and intimate—and we’ll probably return. The TV didn’t work at all; the lady was very kind and tried to fix it but it stayed broken throughout our stay. Overall I’d give the place a 10 for location and service, though the price was a bit steep for what was offered; I’d stayed in Norway for less.

The location, cleanliness, quietness and, not least, the conditions and cooperation of the owners. With safety we’ll come back as soon as possible. The kids felt extraordinary. Nothing that you can’t like.
