Staying inside a national park made this place feel special right away, especially knowing the owners helped re‑plant the forest. We could wander on foot or on quad bikes across the grounds, and the staff treated us like regulars. The restaurant overlooked the Malacara Canyon and served tasty dishes from a real chef, while our chalet had a comfy bed, beautiful décor and a hot tub that faced the canyon.

The bathtub in the room was surprisingly roomy and perfect for a long soak, which I really appreciated after a day of travel. The only downside was that there was no television, so evenings felt a bit quiet. Otherwise, the bathroom itself was clean and functional.

The site boasts truly unique scenery and plenty of natural attractions, and the staff were unbelievably friendly, making us feel welcome at every turn. However, the forest cabin showed its age – the paint is peeling and the bathroom could use a better clean, and the game room looks like it needs a complete overhaul. Despite those shortcomings, the overall experience was pleasant thanks to the beautiful surroundings and attentive service.

Our stay at Pedra Afiada blew our expectations out of the water – the team was warm, the rooms comfortable, and the surrounding landscapes were simply breathtaking. My family and I left feeling completely satisfied and would gladly recommend it to anyone. The only regret is that we couldn’t extend our visit to soak up more of that amazing setting.
