The hosts were lovely, the breakfast (banana pancake 6/5) was tasty, the accommodation was clean, and the surf guide recommendations were great. Renting a scooter was also an option. Nothing bad to mention.

The hosts were extremely friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and water was always available. They drove us by car to Kuta. We had a bungalow that was not as beautiful as the photos showed, but it was still okay.

I can’t understand how this place could receive such high ratings; first of all, the building was dirty with cockroaches and ants, and the staff was rude—no one ever stepped forward to accommodate any of our requests, like a smaller scooter, a hair dryer, or a laptop rental for a work emergency during our holiday. A single extra word of courtesy would have made a big difference; the same applies when one of us fell ill—no gesture of kindness, transport to a clinic in Kuta was strictly paid for and quite expensive. Finally, the town where this property is located is not at all charming, so why are the scores so high?
