I stayed right in the heart of the hanok village, which was great, but the bedding was awful: the futon was too thin on a hard floor, there was no tatami, the duvet was tiny and the pillow was flat. The sleep quality was terrible, and despite this being mentioned in earlier reviews, nothing has changed yet – this issue really needs fixing.

The location and the hostess’s friendliness were nice, and the guest house itself was picturesque. However, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, the small blanket for two was too small and not warm enough, and there was no staff member on site to handle any problems.

The owner was lovely and very responsive; she answered every request and recommended a great restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay with her.

The owner was kind and did her best to make our stay pleasant, and the house was well‑located for visiting the village. On the downside, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable on the concrete floor, the room was only 6 m² with a 1.5 m² bathroom, and exterior light seeped in at night. There was no living area outside the bedroom, and we paid a high price to sleep on the floor. We left after the first night.
