“Has potential but disappointed us”

The host sent us house details and sightseeing tips before we got there, and the house matched the photos exactly. We were welcomed with a basket of tea, coffee, cheese, and bread, and a swimming spot is within walking distance. The humidity was an issue – the dehumidifiers are loud and not powerful enough for summer, so none of us slept through the night. The washing machine’s cleaning door wasn’t sealed properly and started leaking everywhere; it took a while to stop the water. The second bedroom and bathroom lack fly screens. The garden is overgrown, some sliding doors from the living room don’t close properly (letting in heat and humidity), and there were a few problems with trash disposal because the information wasn’t fully up to date.

The interior space is large, though not very useful for a vacation (big living room, dining room but far from the kitchen); the linens are well cared for. The outdoor area is poorly maintained (tall grass, dirty table and benches), no loungers or chairs, basically unusable.

The accommodation is spacious, clean, and fully comfortable. The location is pleasant and quiet, close to the village center and the ocean. The house is pretty, and parking is on the property. At night we heard the local birds and their unique songs. Thanks for the tea, biscuits, and the tomato jam – a very pleasant discovery. The only issue is the tall grass around the table and chairs in the garden.

A very private spot, close to a nice town where you can shop and grab lunch. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The only downside was the high threshold at the entrance gate, which made getting in pretty stressful; we had to park our car on street parking spots.

A charming house in a traditional style, just a few minutes’ walk from the ocean. It’s very roomy and fully equipped. Nothing to complain about—everything was great!
