“Bien para una noche”

They allow pets, which was the deciding factor for me because that condition can complicate bookings. The host was friendly and kind. The bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable, so for one night everything was quite correct. We could also use a small area that isn’t really a kitchen but can be used to prepare food and heat dinner (microwave, kettle, utensils); there were also teas, coffees, toast, cereals, milk and jams for breakfast. As an extra, they offered a couple of local beers if you want to try them! The downside was that the shower being inside the room made it very humid when you shower. We also missed a mop because some water ends up leaking. The breakfast is included and not a complaint, but I found it a bit sparse, at least for my taste. Still, it’s not a bad review, just something that could be improved.

Etsaut is an excellent starting point for hikes. The accommodation is functional but a bit cramped, so it’s hard to feel truly comfortable.

“Honest review.”

The bedroom was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We only met the owner briefly at check‑in; she was friendly and let us be on our own. The location in the mountains was nice, pleasantly quiet, close to the river and local hiking area. There is a shower cubicle in the room and a wash basin. Sadly, the first impression on arrival wasn’t great with the torn lino on the stairs! It looks like a work in progress and the communal areas are a bit shabby. The bedroom door needs adjusting as it was almost impossible to close it. Our fault but, we didn’t realise it was a shared toilet across the landing until we got there as we had seen the pictures of a shower cubicle in the room (not something we’d normally book). There was no mention that there was a cat in residence but we found it sitting on the fridge, this was slightly worrying considering it is a food prep area. It would have been better to be forewarned as our dog is not a fan but, fortunately, we spotted it before she did so there was no fur flying!
