“В гостях у Анны”
The place is really far from the city and the hustle‑and‑bustle, quiet and calm, everything set up for a good sleep. The host, Anna, is very attentive and the breakfast blew me away – she baked fresh blinis, homemade preserves, a variety of breads, cheese and ham, all for guests. Everywhere is spotless; the shared shower and toilet are immaculate, and the sheets and towels are great. Anna loves animals; she runs a farm and works hard to care for her pets with great attention. She gave me a short personal tour of the animals. The donkeys and horses on the farm are peaceful, some even like “hugs.” I took a photo with one donkey, even though I’m a bit nervous about approaching large animals. The only downside was that the house is in a rural area, so there were flies inside, which slightly spoiled the experience; the bedroom had no flies because a screen is on the window. Otherwise, everything was excellent!
The welcome was warm and the accommodation spacious.
“Un endroit paisible où l’on se sent bien.”
The host’s welcome and availability were outstanding, and she generously shares her passion for her craft.
I was a little disappointed; I expected the place to be more pleasant, it wasn’t well signposted, and the front of the house wasn’t very tidy. The room is good and clean, as is the bathroom. The living area seems a bit cluttered, and I didn’t feel that “love at first sight,” especially with the space in front of the house. In my mind, I had imagined the place to be more convivial.
“Très belle étape au Domaine de Kernanou ! Anne est très accueillante et ses animaux adorables :)”
Breakfast was delicious. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Anne took the time to show me her garden and animals, a lovely Breton oasis!
