The hotel sits close to main Lazimpat Road and was quiet at night. The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Thamel market was nearby, and a taxi took me 5 minutes. You can walk if you have time. I had low expectations; it was a budget‑friendly comfort in Kathmandu. I booked a taxi to explore from the hotel. I’ll return again. I went to Trisara for dinner.

Cascade Hotel in Lazimpat really hit the mark for me. Right after checking in I was able to unwind with a hot shower at night, something my previous hotel didn’t offer. The next day I enjoyed a fresh hot à la carte breakfast. Everyone on the staff kept a smile on their face. Hotel Shanker, where I held meetings, was just across the street. The hotel sits in a calm, quiet spot and feels like a hidden gem at a very reasonable price.
