“Shabby and smelly”

The bed was comfy and the air conditioning worked well. The front desk lady was very friendly. However, the room smelled like old cigarettes and there was a dried liquid on the wall that still gave off a dirty odor, even if it had been cleaned.

Checking in was easy. The location felt pretty ghetto, with cops on site and some intriguing-looking guests that seemed to be long‑term residents.
