The hotel is perfect for a visit to Castell Arquato, with a central yet quiet location and ample parking right outside; the breakfast is authentically Italian and of good quality, and the team is dedicated and very friendly—I've stayed in the town several times and have always been very satisfied with the Hotel Leon d´Oro.

The location is great, but the carpet inside the room is a problem.

The room was spacious, nicely furnished, and spotless. The bathroom was roomy and practical, and the bed was comfortable. The lady at reception was very friendly and gave us a list of restaurants; we chose a trattoria three minutes on foot where the food was excellent. She also emailed us directions to the parking spot.

The location is very beautiful and central. The carpet in the room is very old, the lights are cold, and the view is of an inner courtyard. Additionally, I paid the same amount I had for two nights even though I ended up staying alone.

The building is stunning and the staff are very welcoming. The room is spacious. It is a bit expensive because of the additional stay taxes; the breakfast is very good but the price is somewhat exaggerated. We will return anyway, but we will choose a smaller, cheaper room next time.
