It’s a small, cozy hotel that feels very personal. The pool looked a bit outdated and almost a little moldy.

The property is beautiful, the pool is lovely and the staff are friendly. However, for a five‑star hotel we expected coffee that isn’t from a bean‑to‑cup machine, porridge without a €7 surcharge, a kind word or gesture for a birthday after we’d mentioned it on arrival, pool service after 18:00 so we could enjoy a sundowner, and at least a fly‑swatter when we asked the staff for one.

Simply sublime. Perched on a hill overlooking rolling countryside and the ancient village of Montuiri, Finca Serena is the epitome of quiet luxury, superbly hosted by all of their excellent and friendly staff.
