“Throckmorton”
The room offered dual‑aspect views, the bed was huge and incredibly comfy. Nothing else was off; everything was great, to be honest.

Everyone on the staff was friendly, there was a good spread of teas, coffees and biscuits in the room, the space was decent and the spot was pretty. The shower worked fine and the room stayed fairly clean. Breakfast was just okay: we had a full English, the tomato wasn’t cooked well and the hash browns stuck together, but there were plenty of yoghurts and cereal boxes. A bright spotlight outside our window made it hard to sleep.

Parking was free and the breakfast quality was solid; the room was clean and the bed comfy. The downside was the road noise, the price felt high, and the room was quite small.

Room was very clean and comfortable and well located. Dinner was excellent, good selection and freshly cooked and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. We had the full English breakfast that was freshly cooked to order and was very enjoyable. Would have liked the toast served separately and with a side plate
