The room was air‑conditioned and the double bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and presented nicely. Every request was handled politely and attentively, even in English. The charming host also gave us a personal tour of her family’s history and that of the monastery. Thank you so much for that. The expansive garden was a real highlight, offering new discoveries each day. With the host’s tips, we could easily walk to Cividale di Friuli and enjoy it.

The renovated rooms and the park are very beautiful. The welcome was superb. The entrance should be better signposted with a sign at the end of the lane; it’s hard to spot. The spiral staircase is lovely but can be awkward if you have a lot of luggage, though that wasn’t an issue for me.

A little paradise, simply wonderful. One of the most beautiful accommodations we’ve ever had. Warm reception, a dreamy garden to let your soul unwind. The entire property is lovingly designed down to the smallest detail – stunning. The motorcycles were safely parked on the grounds. Thank you for letting us stay. 🫶

The owners’ passion for the family’s history and the original monastery, as well as their respect for the land, are rare qualities that make the stay exceed every expectation. The rooms are cozy and warmly cared for, the breakfast is abundant and fresh. The garden is worth seeing. The starry view is wonderful.

The host isn’t just a simple caretaker; she’s a storyteller who pulls you into conversations beyond a basic “good morning, what can I prepare for breakfast?” Speaking of breakfast, it was flawless—a sweet and savory spread, fresh fruit bowl, and that essential moka coffee. For a coffee lover like me, it’s like being at home. Thanks for the wonderful welcome; I’ll definitely come back.
