The staff never answered requests or calls from guests and Booking, impossible to reach by phone, email, or Booking message, no understanding at all. Stay away. Everything was terrible.

The place sits right in the historic centre, with bus, train and ferry stops for the beach and all attractions just next door, and I was able to check in early; the room was spacious, equipped with a fridge and kettle, and wonderfully quiet, exactly what I asked for, so I felt very comfortable and heard no noise at all. The downside was that the bathroom was quite dark and the two twin beds were pushed together, which was noticeable, though I still managed to rest okay.

I was thrilled by the spot—right in the heart of the city, just a short stroll to sights, shops, eateries and the water. The room was surprisingly roomy, bigger than most, with separate shower and toilet rooms that were both modern and nice. We were on the top floor, had a small balcony and a decent view. The staff were great, letting us drop off our bags before check‑in and even finding us a corkscrew for the wine.

The only thing that mattered was the location. The place was awful, filthy. What was even worse was that we had to lay the shower curtains on the floor in the morning, and when we returned in the evening the towel was rolled up, neatly folded on the bed (just like at reception) but damp. I thought “they must have taken it from us just now” and saw the towel, still on the floor with a lipstick mark, folded and rolled on the bed. I shuddered at the thought.
