Karen was a fantastic host—always on hand and full of great local tips. The house is huge, every bedroom has its own bath, and the kitchen and BBQ area were plenty big for our crew. The only hiccup was that some of the amenities feel a bit old‑fashioned, and the pool was still being fixed, though we were told about that after booking. Overall, a solid spot for a group.

The place is huge and comes fully stocked—beds are comfy, and it’s super quiet. Waking up to kangaroos and a chorus of birds was a treat. The only downside? No washing machine, which we didn’t see listed. Some of us had been traveling for a while and needed one.

The house is gorgeous, cozy, and fully equipped—pool towels included! The breakfast drinks were plentiful, making it the best place we’ve stayed in the Hunter region.
