How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Parking is included and it’s easy to drive out of Siracusa to visit towns and beaches further south. It’s a bit of a walk to Ortiga, but there are many restaurants within a short walk from the building. It’s clean. There is a little road noise, but we knew that from earlier descriptions.

Very comfortable. It was on a staircase, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere, and the lock was complicated to use.

⭐ 1/5 — A disgrace, stay away at all costs. We booked two nights and the experience was a complete disaster. From the moment we arrived, mold was visible in the room, which is absolutely unacceptable for a public hotel. The worst came later: we found cockroaches in the room. We had chosen this hotel partly because it offered parking, and we asked to use it. Result: no parking access for both nights, forcing us to find and pay for another spot at our own expense, even though we expected to use the hotel’s lot. On the second night we discovered a huge cockroach in the room, making it impossible to sleep there. We left the hotel, utterly disgusted. We requested a refund, which seemed the least we deserved given the conditions, but it was denied. Between the mold, the cockroaches, the lack of parking despite our request, and the extra fees we incurred, this stay was a nightmare. Paying for a room in such a state and then having to pay for another parking, with no goodwill gesture or refund, is simply shameful. We have rarely experienced such a deplorable hotel. We strongly advise against staying here and will never return.

Great location, only a 20‑minute walk from Ortigia and right next to the Archaeological Park of Neapolis. Free parking is available in the residence, and the water dispenser in the hallway is a special mention, especially during the heat. The room was outdated, nothing like the photos that supposedly show the only renovated room. The shower was full of limescale and rust, hot water was fickle, and the laundry evacuation was very bad.
