The breakfast was advertised but didn’t exist; roaches were in the room, handicap parking was ignored by management with an oversized maintenance truck blocking the space every night, my vehicle got scratched, and house staff entered before 7:00 am because a guest couldn’t get dressed fast enough to answer a faint knock. To start it off, I received a call saying, “I’m calling because you have a reservation with us and I’m trying to see when you’re going to show up. Yes, this is the Executive Inn in Longview, TX. You have a prepaid reservation, and I’m calling to find out if you’re going to arrive.” When I finally got there, I was told she was about to go home and it would be a courtesy for me to provide.

I was pleased with my stay, but it could have been even better if they had offered complimentary coffee. The hotel had its good points, but it lacked a few essential amenities that would have elevated my experience.
