The hotel sits right across from the Alpenrose ski bus stop, plenty of parking in front, a M‑Preis supermarket next door. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The newer Ballunspitze room on the second floor is easy to reach by lift and a few stairs. The sauna was pleasant and available by reservation. Breakfast was generous. The only downside was a data leak during our booking that a third party tried to exploit – the hotel had no control over that.

We left after one night because the apartment was freezing (around 18 °C) and the heating didn’t work at all. When we reported it, the staff were rude, blamed us, and handed us a tiny, old portable heater that didn’t warm a two‑room space. We had to keep our jackets on inside. Under those conditions the place wasn’t habitable, so we had no choice but to leave.
