The house spreads over three floors on a quiet, safe street, is beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there, plus a good selection of board games. It’s about a 15‑minute drive to the centre, but small shops are within walking distance. The host was easy to reach when needed. The clock in the living room stopped and didn’t work, and the curtains there didn’t close fully, so privacy was lost in the evening when the lights were on.

The location was fantastic, just a stone’s throw from Anfield Stadium. The house felt very homely and welcoming, with everything we required and even more. There were plenty of nice extras, the beds were comfortable, and the house stayed very clean. We’d definitely return. There was nothing we didn’t like.

The bedrooms were great, especially the top‑floor suite. The owner promptly replaced the smoke alarm battery when I mentioned the beeping, and he’s a lovely guy. The location is perfect for football fans or for heading to the docks or city centre. It’s not a deal‑breaker, but a few things could improve comfort: the couches aren’t suitable for long sitting, which mattered during our girls’ movie night; the kitchen table seats only four, yet the house accommodates six, so it’s fine but worth noting if more than four people are present. A garden table and chairs would make the place even better.

The house was great and really catered to us; I appreciated the extra makeup wipes and body scrubs in the bathroom. It was a very comfortable place to stay and I’d definitely come back. The only downside was the lack of prosecco glasses and the beds felt a bit hard, which is just a personal preference.
