“Overall we were pleased with the venue, especially the bedroom and the pool & terrace areas,”
The property itself was very nice, with private gated access and parking beneath a sizeable car port area. It offered a very good sized bedroom and bathroom facilities, plus a large, relaxing pool area with several sun loungers and a rear terrace for breakfast or a place to sit and read. However, the actual location was a significant walking distance from Avignon, so a rental car was a necessity for any evening dinner or a few daytime visits. Breakfast was generally very good, with croissants, fresh fruit, cereals, bread (you could add ham or cheeses) and plenty of coffee or tea. The only cooked item was eggs, boiled in a specific machine by the residents, so no scrambled, fried, poached or omelette options. If the original pot of coffee ran out, the only alternative was the coffee machine; the capsules were okay but fresh coffee was preferred. The room service was lacking: over six nights the towels were never changed, and we were told on arrival that bed‑making and other items were extra, which was extremely disappointing. These shortcomings were significant enough to detract from our stay.
