Balincourt, a Victorian guest house in Bournemouth, sits a 15‑minute walk from the beach and a mile from the station. Its 5‑star rooms feature private modern bathrooms, free Wi‑Fi, and individual décor. Daily full‑English breakfasts are served in a spacious dining room, while a cosy lounge bar, leafy gardens, and on‑site parking enhance the stay.

The vibe was very family‑friendly, the location was great, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The only missing item was a hair dryer.

The breakfast makes this hotel. It was excellent! The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was lovely and quiet in the back room. My parents had the downstairs room which was good for their mobility issues. Went to the Marco Polo Italian restaurant a few miles away in the evening which was wonderful. Unfortunately the hotel's decor is the reason it didn't get a higher score. It's outdated and needs redecorating and updating. The plughole in the shower needs some cleaner put down it. I didn't like the artificial smell throughout the hotel

Harps and the team were incredibly friendly, and the Balincourt location was ideal for exploring Bournemouth town centre and the O2 in Boscombe. The breakfast offered a wide variety and tasted great. On the downside, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the shower cubicle was cramped.
